Cushman & Wakefield Arranges $130 Million Sale of Seasons of Traverse Mountain in Lehi, Utah

Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) announced today that it arranged the sale of Seasons of Traverse Mountain, a 440-unit apartment community in Lehi, Utah, for $130 million.

The sale marks the largest widely marketed multifamily transaction on record in Utah County and the largest suburban multifamily sale in Utah by dollar volume in the past five years.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Kip Paul, Kevin Donner, Michael King, JT Redd and James Hunsinger represented seller Mountain States Properties in the transaction. The buyer was Weidner Apartment Homes.

“The property attracted nearly 30 offers from institutional and private investors across the country — the depth and variety of buyer interest underscored the rare opportunity to acquire 440 units in the heart of rapidly growing northern Utah County,” said Paul, Vice Chairman of Investment Sales at Cushman & Wakefield in Salt Lake City. “The community’s scale, investment profile, and proximity to employment and retail centers drove the strongest competition we’ve seen on a deal so far this year. Panoramic mountain and valley views and an extensive amenity collection further distinguish this project.”

Located at 4200 North Seasons View Drive, Seasons of Traverse Mountain consists of 440 apartment units in four-story buildings. It offers residents direct access to major employment centers, retail amenities and transportation corridors throughout the Wasatch Front. The property, completed in 2014, features 222 two-bedroom units, 168 one-bedroom units and 50 three-bedroom units.

Lehi remains one of the fastest-growing markets in Utah, supported by continued population growth and a strong employment base. The property’s location and scale generated significant investor interest throughout the marketing process.
